Good Morning, Bobcats!

Welcome to Read Across America Week!

Today is CRAZY SOCK DAY!

Bricks and Blocks on your Socks?

Ticks and Tocks on Your Socks?

Dots and Spots on Your Socks?

Just don't hide them in a box says Mr. Fox!

Show them off for all to see, for everyone and even me!

Student Council Members will be coming around to your classrooms 1st and 2nd periods this week to snap some shots of all the adorable Seusstastical Students that participate this week!  Maybe the Cat in the Hat will show up too!

Tomorrow is I'm Not Going to Get Up Today, but it's not true.  We want you here at school to find a clue!  Wear your pajamas and slippers, too!  Bring a stuffed animal, yes please do!

On Thursday you now have a choice.  Since there was no school on Monday you now have a voice!  You may wear all black with a hat, how about that?  Or if you have a Thing 1 or Thing 2 dress the same you silly two!

Each and every day this week we have some Dr. Seuss trivia for you.  Listen carefully and if you know the answer write your name, grade level and answer on a piece of paper and give it to your teacher or take it to Kim's office.  There will be a bucket to put all answers in!  At the end of the day 2 winners will be drawn and prizes will be awarded!

Today's trivia question is:

When was Dr. Seuss born?

A.  March 1, 1904

B.  March 1, 1905

C.  March 2, 1904

D.  March 2, 1905

The answer will be revealed at the end of the day, as well as the winner!

Joke of the Day: Q: How does the Cat in the Hat get what he wants?

A: With purr-suasion.

Yearbook Members:  Weather permitting, we will have a Yearbook Meeting Wednesday after school, Feb. 27th.  Please keep working on your pages.  If there is anything I can help you with, please let me know.  Remember our deadline of March 4th is quickly approaching.

Calling all 7th and 8th grade students interested in being on the Bobcat Track and Field team this spring!  We will have a short informational meeting on Friday, March 1st at the end of the day.  We’ll meet in the gym after the Dr. Suess activities are over. Plan to sign up and get ready for an awesome season!

Lunch today – Walking Tacos, lettuce, salsa, black beans, and brownie, mixed fruit.

Breakfast for Wednesday is Breakfast Pizza and lunch is Pork Patty, scalloped potatoes, peas and mandarin oranges and WG roll.
