Good Morning Bobcats!!!

Fact of the Day:  Did you know that a boa constrictor’s hiss can be heard up to 100 feet away?! 

 

Snickers, Reese’s, Hershey’s, Kit Kat, Hershey’s kisses, chocolate chips…what do all of these have in common?  Chocolate!!!  Today is known as National Chocolate Day!!!  Eat it in a candy bar, a pie, a cookie, a cake, or anything else you can think of!

 

Joke of the Day:  Our first joke today comes from Emily Wanberg, 6th grader.

Q:  Why are cornfields such great listeners?

A:  Because they have LOTS of ears!!!

Our second joke of the day comes from Mrs. Christiansen.

Q:  Why did the apple go to Mr. Steele’s gym class?

A:  So it could work on its “core”.

The COU Student Council wants to hear your jokes!  If you have a funny joke or riddle and would like to share it with the whole school, please submit your jokes to Kim’s office.  If your joke or riddle is chosen it will be announced during the morning announcements and you will get the credit!  Keep them clean & keep them funny!

Reminder:  THURSDAY will be our ALL SCHOOL JH Blind Volleyball Tournament!  Brackets are now being put together and will be posted tomorrow.  Prizes will be awarded to the BEST DRESSED team and to the 1st and 2nd place teams!!!

For lunch today is: Chicken and rice, mixed veggies, pineapple, and pumpkin bars.

Breakfast for tomorrow is:  cereal and yogurt

Lunch for tomorrow is:  Chicken Noodle Soup, Cinnamon roll, cheese stick, broccoli, and applesauce.
