Good Morning Bobcats!!!

Fact of the Day:  Did you know that the longest one-syllable words in the English language have nine letters.  See if you can think of one.

Today is known as WORLD KINDNESS DAY. We want to share it more than usual because studies show that when others observe kindness in action they are more likely to carry out an act of kindness, too.  So, see who you can surprise with kindness today!

Student Council members are selling green light bulbs as a fundraiser for the Veterans.  Greenlight a Vet buy changing one light bulb in or outside your house to show your support for our Veterans!  Singles are $5 and a double pack is $10.  All proceeds will go to send a Veteran on the Honor Flight.  See a Student Council member or Mrs. Christiansen to get yours today!

Would you like to win a Thanksgiving Gift Bag filled with goodies?  If so, see if you can match the 18 COU Bobcat students to their correct baby photo. Forms can be picked up & filled out next to the photo case on first floor and turned into the box in Kim’s office.  All correct answers will be entered into the drawing. You can’t win if you don’t enter!

It’s time for 2 Truths and a Lie.  How well did you know Mrs. Jepsen?  If you answered #3 as her lie, She met her husband in college, you were right.  That is a lie.  She actually met him in high school.  Our lucky winner was 3rd grader, Audrey Hadden.  You may come to the office and claim your prize.

Today we are featuring our new guidance counselor, Ms. Crall.  How much do you know about her?  Can you guess which of these statements is her LIE? #1:  I hate to cook #2:  I have hiked a mountain #3:  I know how to make apple juice/cider using apples from an orchard If you think you know which statement is not true about Ms. Crall, submit your answers to the container in Kim’s Office but you MUST HAVE your name and grade level on the answer!! A winner will be announced tomorrow.
