We’d like to give a BIG shout-out to our school Guidance Counselor, Miss Crall today!  National School Counseling Week was this past week and recognizes the vital roles school counselors play in the lives of students across the country. Each year during the first full school week in February, schools, and teachers take time to show appreciation to the counselors who’ve made an impact on the lives of their students, so THANK YOU, Miss Crall!

Today is National Bubble Gum Day!  See if your teachers will give you each a piece of gum or let you chew gum tomorrow as a special reward, maybe even have a Bubble Gum Blowing Contest!

Did you remember to wear your RED to school today to raise awareness for heart disease in women?  Heart disease and stroke kill one in three women. These diseases are 80 percent preventable according to Go Red for Women’s official website.

 

Joke of the Day:  One of Mrs. Ewoldt’s third graders came home from school one day and told their parents that they got in trouble today for something they didn’t do.  When their parents asked them what they didn’t do the student replied, “My homework”. 

 

All Junior High Basketball players, boys and girls, please get your basketball uniforms turned in to Mr. Staley ASAP.
