The JH Track Team had an AMAZING meet yesterday in Mondamin. We came home with 4 new school records and several personal/season bests. The boys 4x800 relay of Graysen S., Brayden, Ben and Zander broke their own school record in a 2nd place time. The girls 4x800 team of Cheyenne, Claire, Avery and Brinkly also set a new record and placed 3rd. Ella Staley raced to 5th in the 100 meter dash. Cheyenne Vogt claimed 1st in the 400 meter dash and Graysen Schumann took 3rd in that event, both breaking the current school record. The boys 4x200 relay of Ben, Landon , Brayden and Zander sprinted to 3rd place. Both boys and girls Sprint Medley teams earned 2nd place and Avery Funkhouser hurdled to 3rd. The girls 4x100 team of Tajel, Jaydyn, Cadence and Bralynn finished 6th and the girls 4x400 or Avery, Chloe, Brinkley and Bralynn finished the night in 4th.
The boys finished the night in 4th place as a team and girls were 5th! Great work Bobcats! Our final meet is Tuesday at Ida Gove against the Western Valley conference. Come cheer them to victory.
Tonight is MORP (PROM spelled backwards)! The JH has been waiting all year and is excited to dress up and boogie down!
