Good Morning Bobcats!!!

Fact of the Day:  Did you know that World War I ended on November 11, 1918 at 11 o’clock?

Today is known as Veterans Day. Today we honor all military veterans who served in the United States Armed Forces. Please join us today at 9:30 in the gym for a program honoring our military veterans.

Great job to all the students who took part in Laffin’School and the Paper Bag Bandit Rides Again!  Your talent brought enthusiasm and laughter to us all!

Clover Kids meets today after school.

Would you like to win a Thanksgiving Gift Bag filled with goodies?  If so, see if you can match the 18 COU Bobcat students to their correct baby photo. Number your paper from 1 to 18 and the names are listed right below the bulletin board on 1st floor.  All correct answers will be entered into the drawing.  You may submit your answers to the bag in Kim’s office.  You can’t win if you don’t enter!  Good luck to everyone!

It’s time for 2 Truths and a Lie.  How well did you know Mr. Eggeling?  If you answered #2, He was an All-Conference football player in college as his lie you were correct.  This never happened.  Our lucky winner was 4th grader, Emerson Goslar.  You may come to the office and claim your prize.

Today we are featuring Mrs. Heiden.  How much do you know about her?  Can you guess which of these statements is her LIE?

#1:  I love to eat trout for breakfast.

#2:  I was stuck on the elevator in the Seattle Space Needle for 2 hours.

#3:  We dug up a dead cat to have it cremated.

If you think you know which statement is not true about Mrs. Heiden, submit your answers to the container in Kim’s Office but you MUST HAVE your name and grade level on the answer!! A winner will be announced tomorrow.

For lunch today is: Beef taco, refried beans, lettuce, cheese, salsa, churro and applesauce.

Breakfast for tomorrow is:  Cereal & yogurt

Lunch for tomorrow is:  Cheeseburger on bun, baked beans and pineapple.
