The Student Council students had a great time at the Skate Palace in Ida Grove today! Although there may be some bumps and bruises it was a fun time had by all!

The 5-8 band will play at services on Memorial Day in Charter Oak and Ute . Please have your student to the school by 9 am. This is a required performance. Any former high school students that were in band at Charter Oak Ute that need community service credit may come and play with us . Please let me know if you will need a horn or drum. This is a required performance for grades 5 -8.

Thank you to the COU Student Council that were able to come out the Ute Cemetery on Saturday to help put up flags! The VFW in Ute wanted to give more people time to honor those that have served so they put the flags up a week early!
If you are able to help take down the flags they will be meeting at the cemetery at 4:00 on Monday, Memorial Day!

2nd and 3rd grade went on their field trip on Friday to Drop Zone in Sioux City and then to the Sioux City public museum. The kids had a blast! Here is a small photo dump from the museum! The kids really enjoyed the dinosaur exibit and doing the fossil dig!

Here is this week's scheduled events for our ABC Countdown. If your child did not make plans with a friend to dress alike on Friday, and would like to dress like Ms. Cripps and Ms. Dawn, we will be wearing our LOVE LIKE JO shirts tomorrow.

Reminder for all 8th grade parents and community members! The 8th graders are hosting their career fair on Monday May 19th in the gym from 9:00-11:30. Please feel free to come in and support our 8th graders!

The COU Student Council will host a fundraiser to help raise money for a COU family! The Student Council will be selling ice cream cones for 2 dollars with all of the proceeds going to the family! We will be selling these during lunch next Friday!
