Kindergarten started our ABC Countdown to summer on Thursday with some extra Art time! 🥰
Last night the Bobcats competed in Woobine and came away with many personal and season bests. Mia Staley brought home first in the shot put, Zi’lynn Freeman tossed the 2nd place discus throw, Daxton Leitz won the boys disc, and Teagan Gress jumped 6th in the long jump. Around the track we saw many place winning individuals and relays. The girls shuttle hurdle relay of Liberty Maynard, Samantha Sorenson, Avery Bohlmann and Morgan Teut finished 5th, girls distance medley relay of Zi’lynn Freeman, Bailey Kuhlmann, Samantha Sorenson and Elizabeth Gran raced to a 5th place ribbon, the boys distance medley of Ryder Trucke, Austin Mossberger, Teagan Gress and Zach Hudson finished 6th. Avery Bohlmann ran to 5th in the 400 meter dash and Liam Gray took home 6th in the 100 meter hurdles and bettered his own school record. The boys 4 by 200 meter relay of Teagan Gress, Austin Mossberger, Liam Green and Gavin Amunson placed 3rd, and the quartet of Ryder Trucke, Daxton Leitz, Liam Green and Gavin Amunson finished 4th in the sprint medley. Wrapping up the night, the girls 4 x 100 relay of Abby Wanberg, Leah Kiepe, Morgan Teut and Avery Bohlmann sprinted to a 6th place finish, Teagan Gress, Austin Mossberger, Ryder Trucke and Gavin Amunson in the same relay brought home 5th in a new school record time and the girls 4 x 400 relay of Mia Staley, Hannah Peitsch, Bailey Kuhlmann and Elizabeth Gran finished in 4th place. Way to go Bobcats!

The junior high enjoyed an Omaha Storm Chasers game on Wednesday. Some students walked away with souvenirs and memorabilia autographed by Stormy.
Kindergarten celebrated the end of our unit on Christopher Columbus and The Pilgrims by having a "First Thanksgiving" dinner today. We were so thankful everyone was finally healthy and back at school today! 😊❤️
Our first track meet of the season went off with a Bang in Dunlap last night. The Bobcats competed against great competition and came away with some impressive, early performances. The girls throwers brought home a second place. ribbon for Mia Staley in the shot put and third for Zi'lynn Freeman in the discus. Boys field events were strong too as Daxton Leitz tossed the winning disc throw! Teagen Gress leaped to fifth place in the long jump bettering our school record alongside Ryder Trucke. Gavin Amunson hopped high enough to break his own record in the high jump. On the track the boy's sprint medley relay of Ryder Trucke, Daxton Leitz, Liam Green and Gavin Amunson placed forth overall. And the 4 by 100 team of Teagen Gress, Austin Mossberger, Ryder Trucke and Gavin Amunson sprinted to a third place finish. Great job to all the Bobcat Tracksters.

CO-U track enjoyed a great afternoon in Mapleton on Friday for a joint mock meet. The kids all did a great job of competing and cheering on their teammates. This was a great way for everyone to prepare for the first meets of the year to kickoff next week. Another great day to be a Bobcat!
