This past week, CO-U and MVAO 8th graders spent Wednesday afternoon at the high school for an orientation to our amazing CTE programs. FFA, BPA, FCCLA, and industrial technologies programs provide students invaluable leadership opportunities and skill acquisition for their futures. Thank you to all of our teachers and high school student leaders for organizing this terrific afternoon!

Last night the bobcats took the track in Ida Grove. Our throwers had a banner night with all 3 place winners throwing personal best throws. Mia Staley continued her streak of bringing home first place in the shot put and Zi’lynn Freeman joined her with a blue ribbon in discus. She also broke Anna Marie Mallory’s discus record. Daxton Leitz was the night’s runner up earning 2nd place in the discus.
On the track, Gavin Amunson sprinted to a 4th place finish in the 200 meter dash. Both our mile runners, Hannah Pietsch and Zach Hudson ran personal best times by over 30 seconds. Way to go Bobcats!
