Our MVAO and COU Junior High teams came together for a mixed scrimmage, giving our athletes a fun chance to learn, compete, and build connections across districts. Between games, the athletes competed in a 3-point contest and a bonanza ball competition. Mia Staley and Hudson Bruhn were the winners of the 3-point contest! Great job to all and thank you to everyone that came out to support these athletes!

Reminder that the temperatures are dropping so students are expected to come to school wearing their winter wardrobe! Also if they are wanting to play in the snow, snowsuits are needed. A warm kid is a happy kid!

We finished up our Greek Myths unit in 2nd grade! After reading Oedipus and the Riddle of the Sphinx they were asked to make something out of play-doh to summarize the story or riddle. What walks on 4 feet in the morning, 2 feet in the afternoon and 3 feet in the evening? Have them explain the answer! Their creations do tell the answer and their creations if the Sphinx are spot on! Great job!
