Happy New Year! Kindergarten celebrated with party hats and apple juice. We also shared our goals for the year and most of them are determined to learn how to read and write sentences! 🥰
A huge thank you goes out to Smithfield for allowing us to take advantage of a grant that helped us offset the cost of new Math Curriculum that we purchased for this school year, and help us eliminate negative lunch balances. Funds were received on December 16, 2025. This is an example of local businesses making a difference in the lives of our students. Merry Christmas from the 2nd grade! We started the day coming to school in our pajamas! Played some bingo, had a gift exchange, drank green grinch punch with ice cream sundaes while watching Home Alone!! Briggs was such a great helper as he was busy picking up all the wrapping paper and boxes after the kids opened presents!

After 35 years of dedication, kindness and countless memories, we say goodbye and happy retirement to a true school legend. She has seen generations come and go, weathered every change with grace and made a lasting impact on more lives than she'll ever know. Our school will never be the same without her and she will be deeply missed. Happy Retirement Kim!

She has been working hard and independently on her writing! She has been helping her peers in math with questions they do not understand. She is very kind and caring and is always lending a helping hand in the lunch room scraping her friend's plates.
